Takedown
– (the term has two meanings) 1 - the wrestler seizes a certain part of the opponent's body from both sides, then presses it against his own chest, simultaneously joining them together with his hands; 2 - one of the leg movements, in which the wrestler lifts the opponent's leg off the mat, performing a sweep with his own knee behind the opponent's knee joint. A takedown can be both a main and an auxiliary element of a technique in wrestling.
