Somali saying: "if you give a woman a bed of roses she will give you a bed of thorns"
– weighted athletic projectiles consisting of two
cast-iron balls connected by a short handle. Dumbbells are used to develop,
mainly the muscles of the arms and shoulder girdle, weighting and proper staging
punches. In boxing, dumbbells of small mass are often used: 1, 3, 5 and 10
kg.
