Asymmetric bars– an apparatus used in artistic gymnastics for women. The bars consist of two horizontal bars that are fastened to stands at different heights. Essentially, asymmetric bars are a paired apparatus of the men's gymnastics' horizontal bar, which are connected to each other by mounts. The bars differ from the horizontal bar in the diameter of the bar and the fact that the bar is made of wood, not steel. According to the rules of the Gymnastics Federation, the height of the upper bar should be 241 cm, the height of the lower bar should be 161 cm, the diameter of the bar should be 4 cm, the length of the bar should be 240 cm, and the diagonal distance between the bars should be 130-180 cm.
