Turn (in artistic gymnastics)

– Movement of the athlete's body by rotation around the vertical or longitudinal axis. The following terms are distinguished: turn by stepping over (same and opposite), on toes, crossed, swinging, as well as in squat, in balance (with maintaining body position), and others.
